"Entering the Serpent" and "How to Tame a Wild Tongue"

I liked this essay and I could somewhat realte to. She talked a lot about keeping her native tongue in her family and keeping it through out her life. She talked about how she needed to practice it even though she had learned other types of spanish language so she didn't lose who she really was. I can somewhat relate to this because lately my faith in people is slowly deteriorating as far as morals, honesty, respect, etc. are concerned. Like her will to keep her native language alive so to not lose her real self, I try to keep my moral ethics alive so as to not lose myself.
