Essays: Introduction

I guess I'll post a blog about this essay - even though it wasn't really an essay. I thought it was boring but essential. I thought it was boring because just about every introduction I've read to ANYTHING is boring. However, I thought it was essential because in the introduction it says that if you don't understand the essays, and you don't remember everything you read, it's okay. That's why we reread them with the 2nd reading questions in our minds. So that with those questions we'll be able to think while we're rereading and hopefully understand it a bit more. Another thing I thought was very helpful was that it said even after the 4th and 5th readings you still get something out of the essay that you didn't before. Those are the things that helped me a lot when I started reading the essays.
